Janie and I started very early, 9am, to take the cruise. We started on the West end in Grandville. The West Michigan Mustang Club was meeting at Borgman Ford in Grandville, but we thought we would get further into the cruise by heading East up M21 (28th Street) and look for a nice grassy spot to watch the cars drive by.
Motoring at about -2 MPH is not my idea of a fun time, but it was a bit cloudy and only in the low 80's, so the Mustang ran quite cool. We finally made it about seven and a half miles and found a great place to park. The group that had set up in this very nice parking lot was the Christian Rodders Association , (a division of Good Guys Car Club) this particular group out of Byron Center, Michigan. I spoke to Steve, who gave us the green light to park with their group. Next to their group was the Grand Rapids Antique Car Club and they said they had "no room at the inn" so to speak. But Steve not only invited us in, but offered us coffee and donuts! What a great group of people. We may even end up doing some joint cruises and tours combining Luther's Cruisers Car Club and Christian Rodders Car Club.
Our thanks to Steve and his group for their hospitality and friendliness!!
Janie and I were joined by LCCC members Ed and Suzanne. Also our fellow LCCC member Stuart stopped by to show us his "new" 1996 black Impala SS cruiser. Nice car! See it below!
And now, on with the show!

These are some of the cars parked at this lot. It is going to take two or three posts to include them all. So, just hang in there and see a few of the thousands of cars that participated in Metro Cruise 2008!
