Vintage Car Club Car Show, Holland Michigan, Post One

Here I begin my first post of the Vintage Car Club Car Show in Holland Michigan on June 6th, 2008. There will be multiple posts, so you may have to come back to see your car. I have almost 100 pictures! Have fun looking!

Well, here is a conundrum. I took the most pictures of this car and no name of the owner! What's up, Mike! If you know the proud owner of this remarkable Buick along with some information, let me know. It has a 455 engine, Buick I am sure, and is super clean and sharp. I talked to the owner, and I guess that is my problem. When I talk to someone, I forget to get names written down!

A dream here. I have a "64" Mustang. This 2004 is the Anniversary edition, a GT at that! This is the dream. I would love to have this 2004 and have the first and the 40th year of the Mustang. Thanks to Brian for coming today. Very sharp. And, Brian points out, this is one of 965 produced in this configuration. It has the 4.7 c.u. V-8 and is sooo sharp!

This '55 Chevy Hard Top is very unique. It has the factory original 235 cid 6 cylinder engine, stick shift and all original interior. Buck has owned this car for many years and has always taken the position that it is better to keep it original than to add a V-8, customize it, or change it in any way from original. Thanks, Buck, for driving it out from Rockford to share this rare '55 Chevy Bel-Air Hard-top with us.

This sharp 1951 Studebaker Champion Convertible is owned by Arlyn, and has a Chevy 350 V8 engine. Nicely done, Arlyn.

My wife's favorite, always a softy for the 55-57 T-Bird. This is a nice example of the '56 model, owned by Jun and Phyl. Very clean inside and out!

This is a cool and clean '31 Ford Coupe belonging to Jim. What a nice car, Jim. Thanks for bringing it to the show!

This is a 1932 Ford Coupe with a "3-W" body and a "SBC" engine. I am afraid the owner, "D" didn't give me much information on his window sign to say much more.

Willie came to visit! Many participants had various displays, many added much to their cars. This man went a bit farther and brought along a dummy of Willie Nelson. Now Willie never sang, but he did talk! Thanks to a mic that the owner, Rich, used.
Nice touch. Oh, by the way, this is a '64 Vette. Very nice car, Rich. This is one of 2380 that were made and has a 327 engine.

That is the end of my first post. Many, many more to come. Please come back. If you have any comments, please leave a note by clicking "comments" below. Thank you for visiting Mike's Show-N-Shine.
