Here are some pics of the cars that showed up for the third annual West Michigan Cruis'n Classics Car Club Car Show for the year 2009. The weather was great, the turnout was medium but the cars were beautiful!!

The guys and gals were setting up the table for the entrants. Plenty of Hagerty bags available and some pens, magnets and insurance information for the drivers! Thanks to Hagerty and Mike's Show-N-Shine. Make sure you read the fliers, guys. Hagerty will save you big bucks on insurance for your classic car!!

Door prizes galore. Yup, I won something! A nice holder for my CD's that fits onto my car's visor! Thanks to West Michigan Cruis'n Classics for hundreds of door prizes. There was also a great "auction" going on and my wife won some great smelly hair and bath stuff and a coupon for our favorite place to eat in Holland, Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon. Used it this week end!!

Plaques for the best cars at the show. This year Big Red did not win. That's Ok, the cars that won surely deserved the awards!! Many awards, even more great cars!!

Two Isettas showed up. Both were very well done, but the red one was the one that took the trophy. Nice job of restoration to the owner!!

This mudder was brought out to show us the finer points of running through the mud. The owner said he even got stuck once. Can you believe that!!! Thanks to the owner of Mudddigger Custom Stickers & Signs for bringing this BIG MUDDDIGGER to the show! Want more info go to jeep@mudddigger.com or click

It was a shame more cycles didn't show up. This guy was very lonely. He did win a trophy, though!! Nice bike. I really love the colors and leather work.

The previous cars belong to members of West Michigan Cruis'n Classics Car Club. They were not allowed to enter. Probably because so many of them would be winners! What nice cars, guys and gals. Great paint, interiors and engines. Standing tall in the meadow!!

You might remember this truck from a post I did last year about classic cars for sale in West Michigan. It is still for sale and still as nice as it was last year!

The paint on this Mustang was exceptional. Better than it was when it was on the showroom floor.

I remember when I was, like 5, my dad had one like this. I was sitting in the back seat and he was lowering a fuel tank off a loading ramp and it got away from him and BAM! Right on the truck lid. Didn't break the light, but put a big dent in the middle of the lid. Well, this one had no dents, scratches or nicks. Very nice car!! Thanks for bringing it to the show

This award winner, believe it or not, they said, was a clone. I was sure it was the real thing. It looked so much like the original 427, inside and out.

Another car with A+ paint. I saw more people taking pictures of this car than any other! I know I just had to have a picture!!

K&R Towing was there with a big Kenworth and a smaller 4500 to show their strength at the towing game. Very nice rigs, guys! They worked with the kids at the kids games and it looked like they were having a great time!

This is the way to show off your car. No guessing games here. Just read the information and you learn the story. I love the way it is displayed!

This was the big winner of the day. I took this shot early, not knowing that he would win "Best of Show." Well, I guess I did have a feeling. Interior, engine, paint....this classic had it all. I wish I would have gotten his name. He was very proud to receive the honor!

The last two shots were of the lineup of the cars belonging to the members. Great show guys! Well done! Mike's Show-N-Shine thanks all the workers, participants and guests who made this a successful show! To the sponsors of the awards, thanks. It is appreciated by all the owners.
